Mesmerist
Mesmerists always have eye-catching irises, tattoos, masks or baubles to place more emphasis on their eyes. Through these special eyes, a mesmerist can see a creatures insecurities, or generate them where they otherwise wouldn’t exist, eroding a creatures will to make them more susceptible to their spells, skills and more.

1 - Technique Specialization (Magical)
You gain 2 technique points at level 1, then another 2 points every 2 levels after. These technique points can be used on the Moogen and Shira trees.
Characters with magical specialization gain points in wild card equal to their highest tier of magic technique and cantrips.
1 - Hypnotic Stare (Su)
You can focus your gaze on a creature within 30 ft as a swift action to apply a -2 penalty to their will saves. This lasts until the creature leaves this area, you are defeated or until you focus your gaze on another creature. This ability does not require the creature to meet your gaze.
You can't use hypnotic stare while blinded. If facing a creature with a gaze attack, you must not avert your gaze, even partially, if you want to use your hypnotic stare against it.
1 - Copycat (Su) [companion]
You have an eye for technique. Whenever a creature within 30 ft that you can see performs a technique, you can choose to memorize it as an instant action, provided it does not exceed the highest level technique you can cast. It takes up a companion slot while memorized instead of memory.
You get the companion boost to attacks made with this technique.

1 - Psychic Casting
You don't need verbal components to cast spells, but to cast at all you need a still mind. You cannot cast spells while frightened, dominated or confused.
2 - Psychic Implants (Su) [contingent] [subtle] [mana burn]
Psychic implants are effects that linger in a creature's mind, from simple suggestions to something more sinister. You can spend one minute to insert a psychic implant as a standard action against a creature within 30 ft. At any point thereafter, you can activate the implant as an instant action.
You mana burn while it is implanted, but when the implant ends, so to does the mana burn.
Gain a psychic implant this level and another one at levels 4, 6, 8 and 10.
2 - Painful Stare (Su) [mind-affecting] [recharge]
You can infuse your stare with figments that cause creatures to experience things that do not exist. Whenever a creature affected by your hypnotic stare takes hp damage, you can apply the effect of one of your painful stares as an instant action.
Usable once each turn.
When you gain a psychic implant, you can choose to instead gain a choice from the list of painful stares.
2 - Bold Stare (Su)
Creatures affected by your hypnotic stare take additional penalties. Choose one this level and at every four levels thereafter. All penalties apply simultaneously.

4 - Aura Sight (Su)
You can detect creatures based off of an aura that you can physically see, even when the creature would otherwise be concealed. Gain a sight based blindsense (30 ft) while not using hypnotic stare.
While using hypnotic stare, the creature cannot hide from you, even behind total cover. You see their aura through invisibility, fog etc.
This ceases to function while you have blurred vision or you are blinded.
6 - X-Ray Vision (Su) [concentration]
As a standard action, you can touch a surface to see through it. You must spend a standard action each turn to maintain this sight, You can see through 1 ft of most substances, but only 1 inch of metal. You cannot see through surfaces with a thin sheet of lead in it. Some things, like piles, count as 1 continuous object.
8 - Me First (Su)
When you use copycat, you can choose to instantly use the technique they use by increasing its mana cost by 1. You lose any actions you spend on your next turn. If you can identify a spell before it is used (with arcana), it occurs before they use it.
11 - Distant Stare (Su)
The range of hypnotic stare increases to 60 ft.
