Magus
What if sword wizard? The magus specializes in dishing out sword swings and spells in equal measure, learning to combine them in unique ways. The magus has the ability to conjure magic blades out of thin air to augment his fighting style, or supercharge his weapon with magic to unleash devastating single hits. The magus is one of the most versatile in their ability to destroy their enemies.
1 - Technique Specialization (Mixed)
You gain 3 technique points at level 1, then another 2 points every 2 levels after. You can spend these technique points however you see fit.
Characters with magical specialization gain points in wild card equal to their highest tier of magic technique and cantrips. Characters with martial specialization gain points in warfare equal to their highest tier of martial technique.
1 - Multiattack
Make a melee attack and cast a spell.
1 - Enchant Weapon (Su)
As a swift action, spend 1 mana to enhance a held weapon with a magic weapon property from the equipment list for 1 minute.
1 - Arcane Strike (Sp)
You get access to a unique list of spells. Each of these spells requires a melee attack to deliver. Each of these abilities still requires memory. Access scales just like any technique tree, granting you new abilities every odd level.
When you multiattack and use an arcane strike, you can apply it to your weapon, essentially adding the effect of an arcane strike to a weapon attack. This can be used with spell combat to cast an arcane strike and make 2 attacks.
2 - Mana Well
Gain an additional point of mana this level and at levels 6 and 10.
2 - Burned into my Brain [mana burn]
When you prepare techniques at the start of each day, you can choose to mana burn any amount and gain additional memory for each mana you burn.
